Beau Been is a seasoned chef with a passion for creating culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression. His journey into the world of cuisine began during his high school years, eventually blossoming into the establishment of his own thriving catering business, Traveling Bistro. Renowned for his versatility in catering & acting as a private & family chef, Beau has indelibly left his mark on the culinary landscape.

 

Beau was awared the “Best Brunch in a Bar” by the Austin Chronicle. Noteworthy milestones include years feeding the crew of the SXSW Fader Fort & expertly roasting whole pigs. After a distinguished three-decades in Austin, Texas, Beau embarked on a new chapter in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where fate introduced him to his business partner, John Janowski. Together, they unveiled Square Top Bar-B-Que, nestled in the scenic beauty of the Pagosa Springs Golf Club. Beau’s love for food and travel continues to drive his culinary creativity, allowing him to explore new flavors, cultures, & connections in his culinary endeavors.
